You made a blanket statement in saying diabetes is an autoimmune disease and that's not necessarily true. It depends on which type of Diabetes you have to make that statement true if you have type 1 diabetes then absolutely yes it is an autoimmune disease if you have type 2 diabetes that is a metabolic condition by medical definition. I know quite a bit about it because I was my mother's caregiver and watch her type 2 diabetes which went for the most part uncontrolled despite her two separate insulin pens lead to her death due to complete renal failure. I was in constant contact with her nephrologist and had diabetes explained to me in great detail. I'm really not trying to find fault in everything you post but as I mentioned before you cannot make blanket statements when there is more than one variable to a situation. Please stop telling people who depend on you for accurate reliable information that diabetes is an autoimmune disease because there are. To be accurate in the United States 90 to 95% of all diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes Type 1 is far less common which makes it even more important to be accurate when speaking on the subject. To go even deeper for a moment there is also something now called 1.5 diabetes. This categorization is officially called Layton autoimmune diabetics in adults (LADA) which shares traits of both type 1 as well as type 2 diabetes. The immune system mistakenly attacks insulin producing cells in the pancreas. The 1.5 variety develops slowly & is referred to as bridging the gap between type 1 & type 2.

Get off ultra processed “food”. Big tobacco divested from cigs into food in the late 80’s. They didn’t fire the scientists responsible for tobacco addiction, they let them loose on processed food. Sugar, salt @ fat in the perfect ratio and you can’t stop eating. Add seed oils which target the CB1 receptor AND impair mitochondrial function and obesity is the sure fire result. Add increased blue light exposure from led’s and screens plus ever more pesticide/herbicide/forever chemicals and here we are. Most of these chemicals are obesiogenic, some of which affect offspring 2-3 generations down the road.

I couldn't agree with you more. That is one of the main reasons why the US has such high obesity rates and needs such an involved Healthcare System compared to other countries because we have more sickness and more disease than other countries it's not that our healthcare system is so much more advanced and Superior it's that our residents are so much more unhealthy. If we all just went back to eating the way it was in the early 80s and before where diets consisted of real food that was produced on farms with Heirloom Seeds not GMO seeds producing fake food before Monsanto entered the picture with all of their cancer causing pesticides. A Whole Foods diet that is organic is the way to maintain Optimal Health along with moving your body it's not just about the food and the pesticides and the lab created varieties the chemicals yes they play a big part in it but you must move your body in a meaningful way no less than three times a week you must engage in something that your body considers out of the norm so that it registers as meaningful exercise. In order to maintain Independence in elderly years you absolutely must maintain decently strong muscles it is such a huge Factor in maintaining your Independence into old age. People have been mesmerized by convenience over the decades microwaves processed foods online everything convenience is everywhere we look most people see it as a normal way of life when it's actually what is ruining our way of life. This is a big reason why I admire other countries so much is they still understand the deeply important need for real foods and moving their bodies.
